Chloe Kelly has joined Arsenal on a permanent deal after a successful loan spell.

The 27-year-old forward returns to North London following the expiration of her contract at Manchester City. The England international spent the last six months of the 2024/2025 campaign at the Gunners, playing a significant role in the UEFA Women’s Champions League victory. She will continue to wear the number 18 shirt.

Kelly joined the Arsenal academy at the age of 12 before going on to make 19 first team appearances. She then spent two loan spells at Everton before moving permanently to the Toffees in 2015 and then signing for Manchester City in 2020.

During her time at the Manchester-based club, she made 109 appearances and scored 30 times, winning both the FA Cup and League Cup.

On the international stage, Kelly has over 50 caps for England and scored the infamous winner in the Euro 2022 Final that saw the Lionesses lift the trophy for the first time. She was then part of the squad that reached the FIFA Women’s World Cup Final in 2023.

“Putting pen to paper on a permanent contract at Arsenal is a standout moment for me,” Kelly said. “Learning from an incredible manager and continuing to build relationships with an excellent team is a journey I’m looking forward to continuing. I’m excited for more silverware at this special club and to bring more trophies back to North London to celebrate with our supporters. I’ve always said that Arsenal supporters are the best and to have them on my side, singing my name, means so much to me.”
