Ellie Mason and Karen Hills have been named winners in the Barclays Championship January Awards.
The Birmingham City defender picked up two awards. Her performances saw her named Player of the Month. The Northern Ireland internation scored two goals for her side in January, firstly in their 3-1 win over Portsmouth and then in their 3-1 defeat at the hands of Bristol City. The former was selected for Goal of the Month.
Charlton Athletic manager Karen Hills has been named Manager of the Month by the League Managers’ Association. The Addicks won both of their first two league games of the year, moving them up to fifth in the table and just five points off Birmingham City at the top.
