England’s U19s are heading to the 2019 European Championships after a strong 2-0 win over Italy on Wednesday afternoon.
This weekend saw the FA Cup 4th Round take place. The snow cause havoc across the country, with 8 of the 16 ties postponed. However, we got to 3 of the 8 games as teams battled it out for a place in the 5th Round draw.
The first international week of the year took place over the last fortnight. The Home Nations and the Republic of Ireland had teams from across the age groups competing in friendlies around Europe and beyond.
Mid-week football returned with the Continental Cup Quarter-Finals yesterday. Eight teams remained in the competition as it heads towards its conclusion on 23rd February.
The first international break of 2019 takes place between 14th and 22nd January.
