February International Break 2023

The first international break of the year begins on Wednesday 15 February with a variety of tournaments. The final three 2023 World Cup squads will be claimed at the Inter-Continental Play-Offs in New Zealand. Meanwhile, the Arnold Clark Cup, Tournoi de France, Turkish Cup and Cyprus Cup are taking place in Europe while USA will host the SheBelieves Cup and Australia the FFA Cup of Nations.

Team GB rely on their own sweet Caroline to see them through

Quarter-final qualification for Team GB was already confirmed but as they took to the field in Kashima, Hege Riise’s side were looking to keep up momentum as they signed off from the group stages. Team GB have been quietly going about their business in Japan, two wins from two and yet to concede a goal. But their opponents on the day, Canada, have proved somewhat of a nemesis of late for England, with both after top spot in Group E.

October International Break

The October International break is here. Euro 2021 Qualifying returns for the Wales and the Republic of Ireland. England host Brazil and travel to Portugal in a series of friendlies. Meanwhile the qualifying round for the U19 European Championships takes places involving all the Home Nations and the Republic of Ireland.
