Carla Ward has named a 23-player Republic of Ireland squad for their upcoming UEFA Women’s Nations League double header with Greece.
Bristol City’s Chloe Mustaki and Celtic’s Saoirse Noonan both return to the fold for the first time since the 2023/24 Nations League campaign. There is also a call up for Shelbourne’s Aoibheann Clancy who has impressed in the first few weeks of the SSE Airtricity Women’s Premier Division.
It means that Izzy Atkinson and Mel Filis miss out while Louise Quinn, Tara O’Hanlon, Megan Connolly, Jamie Finn, Lily Agg and Jess Ziu are all unavailable with injury.
The squad will meet up on Sunday 30 March before travelling to Heraklion for their first game against Greece on Friday 4 April (17:00 GMT). They will then return to play them four days later at Tallaght Stadium on Tuesday 8 April (19:30 GMT).
