Six England players have been voted into the FIFPRO World XI by over 6,000 of their peers.

Hannah Hampton, Lucy Bronze, Leah Williamson, Millie Bright and Alessia Russo have all been included following impressive seasons with club and country.

Bronze is making a history-making eighth appearance, surpassing Wendie Renard’s seven. The 34-year-old played a significant role in Chelsea’s domestic treble while also helping England to back-to-back European titles.

There is an inaugural appearance for Hannah Hampton after her heroics for Chelsea and the Lionesses as well as Chloe Kelly who lifted the Champions League with Arsenal before winning the Euros this summer.

Two African players are named for the first time – Zambia’s Barbra Banda and Morocco’s Ghizlane Chebbak – while Spain’s Ona Batlle has also been named for the first time.
