France international Estelle Cascarino has joined West Ham on loan for the remainder of the 2025/2026 season.

The 28-year-old defender arrives in East London from Juventus and will wear the number 28 shirt for the Hammers. It is her second stint in the Barclays WSL after a loan spell with Manchester United.

“I’m really pleased to be joining West Ham,” she said, “I know that West Ham is a big club in England and I’m excited to be part of this project.”

“I’m a technical player who is aggressive in my defending. I’m here to bring my leadership and experience to help the team on and off the pitch. I’m proud of what I’ve achieved so far in my career and I’m looking forward to this next chapter at West Ham, in the best league in the world.”

Cascarino has been playing with Le Bianconere in the Serie A since 2023, making 49 appearances and helping them to a league title and the Coppa Italia last season.

On the international stage, she has progressed from U16 level through the France pathway before making her debut for the senior team in 2017. She has amassed 18 caps since and featured at both the 2023 Women’s World Cup and Paris Olympics.

“We are delighted that Estelle has joined the Club,” Head Coach Rita Guarino said. “Estelle is a left-footed defender who has excellent technical ability. She reads the game well, is calm on the ball and her range of passing will suit our style of play.”

“She is a proven winner, and her experience and knowledge of the game will be a real asset to the team moving into the second half of the 2025/26 season.”
