The National Football Museum has announced that England’s Euro 2025 winning squad as well as head coach Sarina Wiegman will be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
It comes after the Lionesses sealed a first major tournament victory for an England team on foreign soil and the first ever retention of a trophy.
The induction acknowledges the team who contributed to the campaign, as well as Wiegman, whose leadership has been instrumental in shaping one of the most successful eras in English football history.
“This squad made history — again,” National Football Museum CEO Tim Desmond said. “To win back-to-back European Championships is a phenomenal achievement, and it’s only right that we honour the team and Sarina Wiegman in our Hall of Fame. Their legacy goes beyond silverware; they’ve changed perceptions, brought the nation together, inspired future generations, and set new standards for English football.”
This recognition reflects the National Football Museum’s commitment to recognising the women’s game at the highest level, with the formal Hall of Fame presentation taking place later this season.
