Sarah Mayling has joined Leicester City on loan for the remainder of the 2025/2026 season.
The experienced right-back arrives at the King Power Stadium from Aston Villa where she has been since 2021.
At 28 years old, Mayling will bring a wealth of experience to the Foxes who currently sit in ninth in the Barclays WSL. Having played ten consecutive seasons in the top flight of English football, she has amassed over 200 career appearances.
The Sutton Coldfield native began her career at Aston Villa where she emerged through their Centre of Excellence to make her senior debut at 17. After three years at the club, she moved to Birmingham City where she spent four seasons before returning back to Villa Park.
“The manager has shown belief in me and given me confidence, so it was a no-brainer to come and play for this football club,” Mayling said. “The facilities and the environment that is being created here all builds into it. Belvoir Drive is somewhere you’d want to work every day and will motivate us to be the best we can be.”
