20-year-old Paula Partido has become London City Lionesses’ 11th signing of the summer window.
The Spanish midfielder has arrived in London on a three-year deal following her departure from Real Madrid.
She began her career in Madrid before heading out on loan to Celtic and Sevilla. She also made her mark in Real Madrid B with 49 appearances and 15 goals.
Internationally, she has been capped by Spain at U17 and U20 level and was part of the winning squad at the 2022 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
“When this opportunity came, I thought it’s a big club and is a great future project,” she said. “I had no doubts about it.”
