Manchester City duo Bunny Shaw and Andrée Jeglertz and West Ham’s Shekiera Martinez have come out on top in the Barclays WSL December Awards.
Prolific forward Bunny Shaw enjoyed a superb December as she opened up her lead at the top of the scoring charts. The Jamaica international became the first Man City player to record 100 for the club with her four goals against Aston Villa adding to her brace against Leicester City.
Her manager, meanwhile, also picked up the Manager of the Month award. It was the third month in a row that Jeglertz has picked up this award as City solidified a six-point lead at the top of the table.
Finally, the Goal of the Month was awarded to Martinez for her spectacular overhead kick against Manchester United.
